When I realized who was leading, I stopped (it wasn't me leading it was my thoughts)...and a thought came crashing through my mind...instead of spending time worrying...use your time finding solutions. If you can't change what's happening...you can change how you respond to it.

There will be things we can't change or control in our lives. There will be things that will happen to us... and all we can do is manage it the best way we can. We can't control what may come into our lives but we can control ourselves. We do have some control.
If something is going on in your life now...what are you doing about it? What are your thoughts like? Are you beating yourself up for something you can't change? Are you hiding because of what happened? What are you doing for you?
Beating yourself up won't change anything and it won't help you either...but lovingly supporting yourself will. Worrying for things you can't change or control...leaves you a victim...and you're not! but you can tell yourself you will handle it the best way you can. You can tell yourself you're strong enough.
When your thoughts and mind wanders the next time...give some thought to these questions and give some thought too to what you can do for you to help you through it. There are things we won't be able to change nor control in our lives BUT we do have the control over how we respond and even react to it. We can change things for us moving forward and it's ourselves!
