What are you doing this weekend? Do you have any plans? if so...how will you prepare for and manage your pain so that you can be as active as you're able this weekend? what helps you to live beyond your pain?
If you don't have plans this weekend...will you take some time for you and focus on your needs for a change? What do you need to feel good about being you? Is this the weekend you throw yourself a rocking F*&K the World Party?

These questions are the norm on Friday and I ask them to get you thinking. We often say we don't have the time for our needs...but I say...it's up to us to make the time. We know we need it. We know too that it helps to keep us above our pain. Focusing on our needs is a healthy healing goal to have and it does not make you selfish, greedy, or uncaring. It's one the healthiest and loving things we can do for ourselves and those we share our lives with.
The more we care for ourselves and our needs...the more we're able to do with and for others. So take the time this weekend to find your smile again and to get focused with your needs. This is one healing gift you do have control over. My question now is...will you? Will you give yourself the time you need to focus on you and your needs...will you?
