Some of the things that I enjoy doing are...
- listening to music
- relaxing in my comfy clothes under a cozy blanket
- a soak in the tub with bubbles and a book
- thinking of and remembering days spent on the beach (it's a visualization for relaxation exercise for me and I can almost believe I'm sitting there again)
- art therapy...I like getting messy with my paints
- my fav three letter word....nap
- heating blanket
When was the last time you took some Me Time for you? What did you do for you when you did? How do you talk to yourself when you're hurting?
HINT: You can't change that you hurt...so beating yourself up for something you can't change? well that needs to stop. Ignoring your needs? Well that needs to stop too!
