It's the last long weekend of the summer and fall will soon be here. What are you doing? Do you have a BBQ planned? Time with family? or maybe you're like me and making a last run to the beach?
Whatever you do this weekend do something that makes you smile and feel good to be you...something that allows you to live beyond your pain...do something for you . And when you're hurting for all you've done...take the time to let yourself heal and soothe your aches.
Now I know there are days when you just can't be active...and that's okay too! Days when all you can do is breathe. When those days are here...take the time to do what you need to soothe the pain...to care for your needs emotionally and mentally...please do take good care.
Trying to find a balance between being active in our lives and managing our pain is like keeping a teeter-totter level...it's ain't easy I know...but I've been saying for awhile now that I would much rather hurt for doing what makes me smile and what makes me feel good than to hurt just because that's the way life is.
Don't wait for the day you won't feel pain...go live your life now to the best of your abilities and then smile for the new memories you've made.
