I do this reminder every Friday and I don't mean to be nagging but seriously? What have you done for lately? What have you done to soothe your pain...physically, emotionally, even mentally too...what soothes you?
Even though I may do this reminder on Fridays...you don't have to wait for a Friday. You can make the choice to soothe and care for yourself and your needs any day of the week...and any other time that you need to.
The biggest support you will ever have during your journey through a life with pain...is yourself! No one knows your struggles like you do. No one knows your hopes and dreams, your thoughts or your fears. No one know you like you do.
You have a choice now, and I hope you will choose to support yourself no matter what. To love and accept the parts of you that you'd rather hide, to soothe and care for yourself and to stop beating yourself up for things you can't change. It's time for you take good care of yourself and your needs too.
