Just like all the other Fridays...I'm here to ask...What will you do this weekend?
- What will you do this weekend to help you feel good about being you?
- What will you do this weekend to help yourself prepare for and manage your pain so you can be as active as you'd like?
- What will you do this weekend to soothe your physical, emotional and mental pain?
What will you do for you? We may live with pain now but we still have a life to live. I hope you do at least one thing this weekend to live beyond your pain...to do something that makes you smile and feel good about being you...to live your life for you and not your pain.
Maybe this weekend you need to spend some time soothing and caring for yourself and your needs. Have you had a long week? Is your pain flaring? If so, take some time this weekend to soothe yourself. It's not selfish either okay!?! Taking the time to care for your needs as you need them is one of the healthiest healing goals we can have for ourselves. Please give that gift to you this weekend?
We can't change that pain is now a part of our lives, but we can change how we live with it. What changes can you make for you moving forward? Will you make them?
