It's NOT their journey...it's YOURS!

How many times have you wished, said, or wanted...for others to understand? For others to know what you're going through? For others to know what life is like to hurt every day? Have you ever wished for or wanted that? Have you ever been hurt or upset when others didn't, couldn't or wouldn't just understand? I think we all have at one time or another.

But has this feeling of wanting others to understand ever left you feeling unwanted, unloved, and a burden to others? What about angry or even resentful? Have you ever felt that way?

Living with something that others can't see, that many can't comprehend, something that even our doctors struggle with...can leave us wanting to be understood, to be accepted...just loved and wanted even.

But you know what? Sometimes, the people around you won't understand your journey. That's okay! They don't need to. It's not their journey. It's yours.

Everyone has a unique life journey, and we're not always going to understand everything that life can bring into our lives or the lives of others around us...or why things happen the way they do...life just happens.

And yes...it would be nice if others could understand or even see what we're dealing with...but you know what? everyone is living a life of their own too...and maybe they're struggling enough to see and to understand what is going on in their life...they can't see what is happening in yours...they can't deal with yours because they're dealing with theirs. We all have a life to deal with, and not everyone is going to understand.

How we deal with life happenings is not the same. What I may do is different than what you may do. How you feel and think may be different from how I feel and think. Our own life experiences impact how we perceive, think and believe our lives to be. And it also impacts how we see and understand the world around us and the people in it, and yes...even what they may be going through too.

Whether others understand it or not...does not change what we live with. It does not change that our days are ours to live with, to cope with and yes even to survive. It's okay if others don't understand...it's not their life!

Please...your life is yours to live...live it to the best of your abilities each and every day whether someone else understands or not.

(just my opinion)

take good care of you eh?
