Negativity capacity...how full is your tank?

When you look at this picture...
how full would you say your negativity tank is?

To go from mild frustration to perpetual negativity and all the levels in between...is a human thing.

Life can seem like we're always getting the "SH&T end of the stick" sometimes while others are getting the roses. And sometimes too life is just a mild frustration...like the fly you try to swat but keep missing.

And all the levels in between? yeah they happen too.

From the loss of sleep and being unable to let go...it can become easier to begin thinking the worst. Ever notice that? Our sleep is that important! and yes! it can even impact our negativity capacity. I've noticed it in my life...have you noticed in yours?

How do you mange the mild frustration? The lack of sleep? How easily do you let go of things? or are you holding on with a death grip? How do you stop yourself from thinking the worst? And the biggest question of all...are your thoughts perpetually negative?

Deep and personal questions I know but please do give them some thought okay? What do you notice about your thoughts? Is there a particular situation that causes this for you? Perhaps it's a person in your life? What do you notice about how your body is feeling while you have these thoughts? Is it a comfortable feeling for you? What thoughts are you thinking and are they healthy for you?

I will admit that when my journey with pain began...I was filled to the brim! I had enough negativity to last three life times...more than I could ever live with...or survive. My thoughts were hurtful, and I didn't know how to handle them...and sometimes I hurt myself and those around me.

When you give thought to your negativity tank levels...how full are you? What are your thoughts like right now and what thoughts could you change? (even more questions I know but please do try to answer them) and here's another one for you...What are you doing about it now?

Some say it's just too hard...but you know what? living life with thoughts that are always negative...will only make it harder. Yeah...there is stuff in life that's just bad...things we'd rather not experience or have to deal with...but you know what? there is also a lot of good stuff too. But if we're too busy focusing on the negative...how could we ever notice the positive? (hint! - we can't!)

SO! here's my challenge to you today...for every negative thought you entertain today...about yourself, your life, your experiences...ANY negative thought....I challenge you to say five things that are good, positive, and worthy in your life.

The negative can be easy to find...but I challenge you to give thought to the positives of your day too...even the little ones!

and it can start with just one thought

please...if you're finding your thoughts focus is on the negative...give some thought to what you can think about now moving forward that will encourage, promote, inspire, and support you instead.

take good care of you eh? and your thoughts too!
