Did you do it? You know? That thing you've been wanting to do all summer? Did you? I hope so! and I hope it showed you too that you can live beyond your pain when you prepare for it.
Pain may be a part of who we are but it's not all that we are. We may live a pained life but we still have a life to live. I hope this summer you lived for you and not your pain.
What have you learned this summer about your pain? How do you prepare for it so that you can do the things you need and want to do for you? Pain is manageable and we can learn to cope. Find what soothes your pain...emotionally, mentally and physically and take good care of you.
I hope you had a summer filled with memories and things that make you feel good about being you.
