Before we can move on from something that has happened in our lives, our thoughts on our past, or just our emotions in general...we must first understand why we feel the way we do. We must ask ourselves some very important questions. And we need to pay attention to the answers too.
What are you feeling? Are your feelings based in present circumstances or in your past? Are your feelings helpful or hurtful to you? Is there something that can be done to change the circumstances?
Once you know why you're feeling the way you do...you can then choose why you no longer need to feel it...it's not serving a healing nor healthy purpose in your life, it's holding you back from chasing your dreams, it's stopping you from realizing your true potential, it's preventing you from moving forward in your life....just to name a few reasons.
We can learn to understand our feelings and we can even learn how to stop them...even to change them...we can learn how. And once you do...you can let go of the feelings that no longer serve a healthy healing purpose in your life moving forward. Remember...you are NOT what happened to you in your life...you are what you choose to become.
