Today, is some time with my Dad. I get to go watch him play hockey and then off for some errands. It amazes me that at his age he still plays. There are men on his team that are in their 80's! and they are incredible players in my opinion. Now mind you some still think they're 20 and they try to play like they are too....it's fun to watch to say the least and I am so proud that my Dad is still playing and doing something he loves.
The whole point in my sharing this bit of my personal life with you is to get you thinking of what brings you a smile....what makes you feel good about your life?...who are the people you like spending time with? Give thought to some of the memories you've made with them.
It's up to us to keep living and doing the things that make us smile and feel good. Even on the days when we feel pain or will feel even more for doing what we do...we need these days in our lives. To remember to smile and laugh till it hurts. To live beyond our pain and do what makes us feel good. We need these days.
I hope you give yourself one too.
