If you're like most people you're probably saying that you're assertive in some aspects of your life, and if you're really honest, you may even acknowledge that you would like to be more assertive in other areas of your life as well.
Sometimes our assertiveness depends on the situation, our comfort levels and with whom we're with. Have you noticed this in your life? Give thought to when you have been assertive in your life.
It's not always easy though to be assertive. We want to be liked...we want to be included...we need to be accepted...and sometimes...that makes us do things that we don't really want to do. Have you ever done this?
Becoming more assertive in our lives can be a struggle at times as we're fighting old patterns, old behaviours, and old thoughts...but it is something we can work on.
