The Facebook page hit another milestone in the wee hours of the morning today. It still amazes me to watch how that page grows each day. Even the website here is growing too and I'm thankful for the company.
Many of you have left some very encouraging words and the support you give me means more than I could ever express. Thank you! for being here!
I do believe we're friends on a journey and we are more alike than we are unalike. To find the understanding, support and encouragement from others just like me has helped me to heal even further. Though I would never wish this life for anyone...it's nice to know we're not alone.
My goal here is not to tell you how to live your life...that's your job...but I do hope to challenge, encourage and empower you. I hope too that by visiting the Facebook page and the website here, that you are beginning a different sort of journey with your pain.
We may not be able to change the fact that we hurt...but I do believe we change how our pain and illness impacts our lives. Yes...we hurt...but we still have a life to live, and I hope and I challenge you, to live it to the best of your abilities each and every day. Even on the days when the only thing you can do is breathe...know that you are enough just the way you are...perfectly imperfect...yet perfectly you.
