When you read this...what did you think about? What did you remember? How often in your life have you completed a task that was beyond your capabilities when you started it? You know you've done it! You know you're capable of it! Right?
And you know what else? How you move forward now with your pain and/or illness can be another task you complete. Do you believe that? I do! and here's why...You've already done it...so what makes your pain any different?
Here are just a few examples to think about...you learned to crawl, to walk, to run. You learned to ride a bike, to drive a car. You learned to feed yourself, to cook, to make a mess and to clean it up too. YOU LEARNED HOW! And each of these things were beyond the capabilities of the person you were when you started.
Give some thought to all of the other things you have completed in your life that was beyond your capabilities when you started it...and believe in yourself again. Ask yourself...what do you need to help you through? What can you do to help yourself? Who can you call upon for support and help?
Don't let the fear of your pain stop you from growing, from learning and from experiencing who you really are and what you're really capable of...explore YOU! and live your life for you and not your pain.
Take good care of you please and believe in yourself...you're more capable than you give yourself credit for some days.
