Welcome to Chronic Pain & Life
Here are a few things to share with you......
There are a lot of sites available on the world wide web that will offer you "explanations" to the causes of your pain. I put explanations in quotes because trying to find out all the possible reasons to why we hurt is like a trying to find a needle in hay stack....difficult! and often leads us to self-diagnosis...which we aren't qualified to do. You may even find a site that offers you are cure...there isn't one...sorry to break it to you.
There are many illnesses that cause chronic pain and we will each experience our own diagnosis differently. I cannot possibly cover all the reasons why you are hurting nor am I qualified to do that. You will not find what is causing your pain here, but what you will find are tips, tools, and strategies to living with your pain when you decide you are sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Chronic Pain & Life was created to provide support and education for people living with chronic pain. If you would like to share how you are learning to live with your pain or would like to comment on something you see, please do!! I welcome your input.
If you choose to add a comment, please be respectful to what others are going through. Please know that any foul language, racial, hateful, or otherwise demeaning comments will be deleted immediately! If you can't say something nice.....don't say anything at all
As the author of this site/blog, I do retain the rights to its content. I will give credit where credit is due and acknowledge all sources if I share something with you that is not originally mine.
I also retain the right to change and/or shut down this blog at any time.
As I would like to retain full control over what I post here I will not be opening this site for advertisers. I've recently learned that to have certain advertisers also means I would lose control of and be limited in, the content of what is posted. I don't want to be limited in what I share with you so I hope you can understand and accept that you will not see advertisers on this site.
I am available for the facilitation of the LCP program in the London area individually or to small groups. Due to issues with a computer crashing and losing all of my work in digital form, the book "Living with Chronic Pain - A Patient's Perspective is currently unavailable for purchase although I am hoping to have it available for the New Year.
If you have any questions or concerns about the content of this blog please use the contact section. I will respond to all inquires.
I wish you all the best in your life!
