Well...here we are...the last day of August and the summer is pretty much over...did you blink? It's been a whirlwind of days lately and summer is fading fast...the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler again. I'm feeling good about the memories I made this summer...I only wish I had made some more. 

What did you get up to this summer? Did you chase your dreams? Did you make new memories to carry you through the rough days? I hope so! I hope you lived beyond your pain and that you lived your life for you. But if you're saying no...with a new month shortly arriving...I hope you will take the steps now and love yourself enough to heal and move forward.

Don't blink...whatever you do! Life moves fast and if you don't take the time to stop and look around every once in awhile...it may just pass you by. Don't let that happen please! Even a pained life is still one worth living and it's up to us to make the memories of our days the best we can make.

When tomorrow comes and a new month with it...what will you do for you to make this new chapter one you would want to read in the story of YOU? it is your story...and you're the one holding the pen...no one but you. So please...make your memories...write you story and live your life the best you can with what you have each and every day. It's up to you...but I hope you will.

Facebook and computer update....

Last week while posting to the Facebook page I was being prompted to type in a code to verify before I could post. This went on for a few days and then WHAM! I was banned. With no explanation given...I was confused. 

The ban wasn't long and I was able to post again soon but I was asked to type in a code to verify before I could. I tried to schedule posts too but they didn't go through...seems I got banned again! I haven't a clue why. I could respond to people leaving comments and I could post typed words but not pictures. 

This continued for most of the weekend...yet on Sunday? oh that was a rough day....instead of being asked to verify, I got a pop up from FB telling me I wasn't permitted to do any actions as my computer was either infected with malicious malware or a virus (aren't they the same? I'm not so computer literate). I was stressed! 

I ran two virus scans (results were green) and even switched computers...but the trouble has continued. I'm still being asked every once in awhile to type in the code but I'm posting again. I'm still working things through here and I hope you will stick with me. I'm not giving this up yet but I do have some work to do.

I just want to say thank you for all the well wishes and comments of support that you left for me! it was like a big hug! thank you!

I've been banned....

Well, if you've been to the Facebook page you may have seen that I've been banned from sharing posts from others and even banned from sharing my own pictures. What's up Facebook? why the ban?

I've no clue why I've been banned...it's not like the powers that be at Fb explained or anything...but I've been given a temporary ban from sharing. So instead of getting my knickers in a knot over this...I'm going to take some time off from both the site here and from the Fb page. 

I will be back in a few days but for now? I'm taking some time for me.

This has been happening to me more and more lately and it's driving me nuts! 

I've been struggling with things to write here and topics too...so many ideas come in and out of my head only to slip away before I can get a grasp on them.

Even during the day...when I'm busy doing something else...an idea for the site will pop up in my head and before I can write it down?
it's gone...poof! 

Please be patient with me as I walk through the quick sand that is my mind lately.

The Health Benefits of Yoga

Today I'd like to share some information about the health benefits of yoga as an alternative therapy and treatment for your pain. Gentle stretches and easy poses can get us moving more freely and that...is a healing thing we all need. 

As an alternative form of therapy, the practice of yoga has grown over the years. Have you tried it yet? Are you curious about it? There are many different forms of yoga and different levels too and each provides many health benefits such as relaxation, improved posture, increased range of motion, mental calming and focus, and all while supporting your breathing.


Now some think yoga can only be done in a group and in a studio...not true! ...you can just as easily do yoga at home too. There are many teaching DVD and internet videos you can try but the most important thing is...you make the time to practice. You may feel awkward and uncoordinated at first and that is normal... but don't give up okay? With patience and practice you will get better. 

If you're not sure if yoga is safe for you...check with your doctor okay? It's always best to make sure that any new physical activity you are curious about is safe for you and is within your limitations before starting. Go slow okay?...and work your way up to some of the more challenging poses...you can do this!
