- plan for and take a day to recover
- identify changes you can make in your eating habits
- identify how your pain has impacted your life and the steps you can take to change your life moving forward
- identify the positives in your life/day
- identify ways you can provide self-care to your emotional, mental and physical needs
- give consideration to the medicines you are using to treat your pain
- spend some time with a little music therapy giving your life a theme song
- give thought to and identify your personal support system
- list your wants, needs, dreams and fears
- get active with exercise
As with the earlier challenges, each are little steps you can take within your life to better manage the impact of your pain. Little steps do lead to big changes....I hope you will take the steps for you and those you share your life with.
