"A clear mind inspires a fresh start. Do not let the unpleasant things that happened to you crowd your life. There are still a lot of good things you can do and better days coming your way." ~~Dodinsky~~ Picture taken at Dorchester Mill Pond, Dorchester, ON I'm curious to know how you are choosing to manage your pain that is beyond the prescription pad.
I hope you will join the conversation and share your ideas. I think if we share our tips and strategies, we can learn from one another. It takes someone living with pain to truly know what it's like to be us. Please use the comment section to leave your ideas. Let's inspire one another! I'm curious to know what you think about the article Cannabis Oil and the use of cannabis to treat chronic pain posted 03-20-14.
If you or someone you know is using or is considering cannabis for treatment use, please share your thoughts on the benefits, side-effects or other concerns, with this treatment. Please use the comment section to share your thoughts on subject. With information, comes education and understanding. Life's challenge is doing the best we can with what we have. Okay, so there may be things in your life you wish were different. At one time or another, I think we have all felt like that. In life, we are faced with many choices and decisions. A healing choice is to promise yourself that you will do the best you can under your current circumstances. Take the time to think about this. Are you doing the best you can with what you have? Kick up your heels and enjoy all that you are. Take good care of you ok? Whatever your opinion may be on the subject, and I can respect the differences we may have, Cannabis is an alternative treatment for a wide range of illnesses, including chronic pain. With many states now legalizing the sale and production of marijuana for recreational and medicinal use, the subject of marijuana is open for heated debate. Here in Canada, our government has done what I would call a complete about face on the subject. People who were once allowed to grow for themselves and for other licensed users, have found their abilities halted. Patient's are now directed to a small handful of "select approved growers" and the cost has gone from $1.00 per gram to a whopping $9-$12 per gram. If you know the street value, even with a legal license, you will be paying street value prices for your medicine. This drawback of supply and support, will cause many people to possibly lose this as an alternative option for treatment. Illegal sales will undoubtedly increase as a result as well. I found the following article on-line and it discusses the use of Cannabis Oil. Now please understand that I am not trying to sway your opinions on this subject, but to open the lines of discussion. Please take a look at the article and share your thoughts and opinions on the use of marijuana as an alternative treatment for chronic pain. Please also understand that I have not researched the facts within this article and am sharing it only as information you can speak to your family doctor about. Be you, and be ok with it. Powerful sentence isn't it? When you read this, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? The first line is the most important one in my opinion. "Take chances, take a lot of them.". Life is about the chances we are given but also the chances we make for ourselves. What would you do if given the chance?Take some time to think about it. Don't fear making a mistake ok? It's in our mistakes we learn what we want and don't want in our lives. Take risks and take chances. Live for you! Well we made it. According to the calendar we are officially into our spring season. Someone might want to tell Mother Nature that! I don't know about where you are, but here....I woke up to a fresh covering of snow and another day of cold temperatures. I'm ready for spring! In the spirit of the new season, I wanted to share a picture of something that never fails to makes smile no matter where I may be, no matter what I may be doing. Classic cars and motorcycles are just a few things that make summer my favourite season. Knowing that summer follows spring...is reason enough to smile. What is it about the spring season that makes you smile? Last week I got word that I am next in line to get new floors in my home. I've been busy since trying to pack up my main floor, kitchen and entrance ways and moving it to other levels. I'm beat! Even with scheduling some "Me Time" for some downtime, this is taking a lot out of me. I will be packing up the computer today and will be without it until later this week. I will not be posting anything on the site until my home is back to normal and I'm able to.
I hope you have a great week. Here's to hoping that spring has finally sprung. Take good care of you Tammy Your feelings and emotions are real. If they weren't you wouldn't feel them. So don't ignore them. You're feeling them for a reason. The challenge is to understand why you are feeling them and gaining control over them. It is easy to get lost in our emotions. Acknowledge them. Take your time stroking each one as you feel it if you need to. But limit the time you spend with the negative ones. Even if you have to set a timer or a clock, don't allow yourself to get lost in the negative. Allow yourself to have the good cry you need when you need it. But again, don't get lost in it. Acknowledging our feelings allows us the time to explore them. Get to know yours.
