Do you need some "me" time? Do you know where to order it? Would you like a massage to be included? I think we all would like a massage some days (or at least I would) but are you in need of a little "me" time? When living a hurting life like ours...we need some down time...time to gather our strengths, time to relax our bodies, time to settle our thoughts...we need time. Some say they can't take the time...I disagree. Some say their needs aren't important...I disagree. Some say there just isn't enough time in the day...yeah I disagree with that too. No...you can't order your "me" time...but...you can choose to give it to yourself. No...it may not always come with a massage...but it will come with what you choose to do for you. It's a choice and it's yours to make. If you're in need of some "me" time...choose you and give yourself the time you need to do what makes you feel good...the things you need that help you to heal...you can do this for you. take good care of you eh and schedule some "me" time...it's a feel good healing thing and you need this picture found at SmartAssy on Fb Before we get to the medication I need to remind you...

I'm taking the day off and spending it with my daughter. I hope you have a great day and please.....go do something that makes you feel good. If you've ever experienced depression you know how it feels in your head, but have you ever given thought to the effects on your body? Depression is not only "in our heads" with our thoughts...it also impacts our physical in many ways.
Have you ever had sleep problems when your depression hit? What about your sexual abilities and interests? Did they change? Do you feel tired and exhausted most of the time? Does it take your energy from you? These are just a few of the physical symptoms of depression and sadly...there are a few more. I'd like to share some information today about the physical symptoms of depression and I ask that you give your life some thought when you read this. Now I am not sharing this information to replace the conversation with you doctor!! I am sharing it so you can start one. If you notice similarities in your life when reading this, please speak to a qualified medical professional. Life comes with many emotions and if you're finding you're stuck...please...reach out for the help you need. I do believe there are things we can learn to help ourselves when the depression hits...we just need to love ourselves enough to know we're worth it and believe that it's okay to ask for help...HINT...IT IS! YOU are worth it and so is your life...please take good care of you Being strong doesn't mean you don't feel pain. It means you feel it and try to understand it so you can grow from it. ~~Karen Salmansohn~~ Picture taken on the pond Hello and Happy Friday to you!! Cheers to making it through another week...how are you doing? It's the last long weekend of the summer and fall will soon be here. What are you doing? Do you have a BBQ planned? Time with family? or maybe you're like me and making a last run to the beach? Whatever you do this weekend do something that makes you smile and feel good to be you...something that allows you to live beyond your pain...do something for you . And when you're hurting for all you've done...take the time to let yourself heal and soothe your aches. Now I know there are days when you just can't be active...and that's okay too! Days when all you can do is breathe. When those days are here...take the time to do what you need to soothe the pain...to care for your needs emotionally and mentally...please do take good care. Trying to find a balance between being active in our lives and managing our pain is like keeping a teeter-totter level...it's ain't easy I know...but I've been saying for awhile now that I would much rather hurt for doing what makes me smile and what makes me feel good than to hurt just because that's the way life is. Don't wait for the day you won't feel pain...go live your life now to the best of your abilities and then smile for the new memories you've made. Happy Friday to you! I hope you have a great weekend...take good care of you eh? Tammy Picture found at Tales of an Overworked Mom on Fb |
