My sleep has been broken for a long time now and it usually doesn't last this long till another cycle comes in...but this one is sticking with me. Due to my heart problem, I've been taken off the one medicine I kept (Trazodone) to help me sleep and for my pain. I won't see the cardiologist until June so I'm hoping this broken sleep cycle doesn't last until then.
I'm not feeling good today so I'm going to take the day off. take good care of you and if you need some time for you....take it! it's a healing thing that our bodies need sometimes. I've come to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going. And I have trained myself to love it. Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to unravel and alas begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going to but the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you are going but you know that so long as you spread your wings the wind will carry you. ~~S.C. Lourie~~ Picture taken in Port Stanley, ON it amazes me how much goodness can come from a single egg did you know this? I didn't how often do you eat eggs? in my house we eat breakfast for dinner sometimes eggs are a healthy option to a increase the vitamins and minerals our bodies need from farm fresh to organic to even egg substitutes...there is benefits to eggs taken from Nutrition Plus Community Health Market Before we get to the medication I need to remind you...
For this installment, I have chosen Norco GENERIC NAME(S): HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE/ACETAMINOPHEN Uses: This combination medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. It contains a narcotic pain reliever (hydrocodone) and a non-narcotic pain reliever (acetaminophen). Hydrocodone works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain. Acetaminophen can also reduce a fever. **Please read this information carefully** If you have any questions about what is provided here....talk with your doctor or pharmacist please. Let your heart breathe sweet soul. Breathe deep until you remember life's beauty again. Breathe as much as you need to until you remember your own beauty again. Take as much time as you need. The world can wait. ~~Unknown~~ Picture taken by my daughter Emily of my favourite tree....thank you Peanut Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever gone from diagnosis to clinical death in three clicks of your mouse? or maybe it was 5 clicks? Either way....have you ever turned to your computer looking for medical advice? ...whether it's to read about your diagnosis or to learn what your symptoms might mean...you've "googled it" haven't you? I think we all have at one time or another. Our society has come a long way with technology and information is now at our finger tips. Learning what ails us is now just a few clicks away. Today we believe God wants you to know that the quality of life is a result of many small actions. It's not New Year resolutions, nor big promises that make or break a life, it's the innumerable small actions you take every hour that compound into a life well lived. Look at how you are living moment to moment to know whether at the end of your life you will be looking back with pride or sorrow. Picture taken by my daughter Emily How we think and feel about the happenings in our life will impact our behaviour...our thoughts are powerful. Have you ever noticed moments in your life when your thoughts on your life and about your pain have impacted your pain and your behaviours?
Are your thoughts and behaviours keeping you from moving forward in your life? Would you like to change things? Do you know how you can begin to change your thoughts so you can change your behaviour? It will take time, work and patience but it can be done...are you ready? If you're saying yes, I hope the following article will get you going in the right direction. How CBT works As the name suggests, CBT focuses on the way people think ("cognitive") and act ("behavioural"). The concept behind CBT is that our thoughts about a situation affect how we feel (emotionally and physically) and how we behave in that situation. As human beings, we give meaning to events that are happening around us. However, we often don’t realize that two people can give two very different meanings to the same event. |
