Do you ever experience stress? Do you need help managing your pain? Do you need help to relax? Have you ever tried or considered biofeedback as a treatment option?
Today I'd like to share some information about Biofeedback and how it may be helpful in lowering your stress levels...help you manage your pain...and even relax your mind and body...Biofeeback is a viable option for many. Like many therapies it is best when conducted by a trained professional. If you have questions about Biofeedback and wonder if it may be helpful for you...speak to your doctor or health care professional. I am not sharing this information to replace the conversation with your doctor but to provide you with information so you may start one. There are many viable options available for us...have you explored them? Will you now? Before we get to the medication I need to remind you...
For this installment, I have chosen Paroxetine COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Paxil GENERIC NAME(S): PAROXETINE HCL Uses: Paroxetine is used to treat depression, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. It works by helping to restore the balance of a certain natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. **Please read this information carefully** If you have any questions about what is provided here....talk with your doctor or pharmacist please. ![]() And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it. ~~Unknown~~ Picture found on-line. Original source is unknown. Did you ever think that loneliness is just self imposed? A friend of mine asked me that question this week and I'll admit, when he first asked me, I took a bit of offence to it. I wondered if he was trying to tell me something. Then I started thinking. (sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes it's not)
I asked myself was I feeling lonely? the answer was yes. I asked myself was it my own fault? was I isolating myself? the answer was yes and it was no. I asked myself why? why do I isolate myself sometimes...the answers were many. Do you ever feel lonely? Do you isolate yourself? If you're saying yes...why do you? When I was honest with myself...I knew my answers and I knew why. Do you? It's not always easy to be honest with ourselves...but when we are...we may find the reasons are difficulties with trust, our pain, a lack of self-confidence and self-worth, a beaten self-esteem, fear, financial reasons, feeling overwhelmed, depressed/anxiety...the list can go on and it's a personal one for each of us. ![]() Sometimes you don't know your own strength until you come face to face with your greatest weakness. ~~Susan Gale~~ Picture taken by my daughter Emily. ![]() Hello and Happy Friday to you!! How did your week go? Are you wondering if it's the weekend yet? I don't know about you but I'm ready for some down time. It's been a busy week here for me and althought I got a lot done...I think I'm due some ME time. Are you? Do you need some ME time? If you're saying yes! then I hope you'll take some time this weekend for you and your needs too. You have them! you know you do...and I'm here today to encourage you to take care of them...and yourself too. What makes you smile? What soothes your pain (without leaving scars behind)? What helps you to live beyond your pain? What can you do for you to nurture and care for yourself and your needs? What can and what will you do for you? How can you love yourself today? Just a few questions to get you thinking and I hope you will. Your needs are important and when you take the time to care for them...even if you go back to bed...even if you couch surf or read a book...you're not being selfish or lazy! you're actually loving yourself enough to do what you need for you. It's a healing thing really...and you need this...don't you? Yeah you do! take good care of you and I hope your weekend treats you well and you do also ![]() Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could. ~~Louise Erdrich~~ picture taken at the Pinery...the beach is my apple tree in life |
