HAHA okay so maybe this one is better shared at the end of my day....how is your day going?
Before we get to the medication I need to remind you...
For this installment, I have chosen Salonpas Hot Topical.....Capsaicin **Please read this information carefully** If you have any questions about what is provided here....talk with your doctor or pharmacist please. Sometimes you have lose everything to find the one thing that matters...yourself. ~~Bryant McGill Picture taken on the Pond This is a prayer that I carry close to my heart...literally...its one of my tattoos. There is a certain feeling of serenity when you let go of the things you cannot change nor control. When you release yourself to acceptance of what is, you also release yourself from your past. You release yourself from its control. The courage it takes to make those hard life choices and changes is within us. We just need to believe it, choose it and live it. The courage to leave what we cannot change behind us and strive forward. There are things in your life you have the power to change. Not only do you have the power...you have the ability. Now the wisdom? yeah that's the tricky part of this whole prayer. I think that's why I have it as a permanent reminder for me now. The wisdom to know what is within our power to change, and what is not. To know what to change and when....is not always easy but it is possible. May God grant you the serenity to accept the things you cannot change...give you the courage to change the things you can...and the needed wisdom to know the difference. What do you have the courage to change in your life? Today we believe God wants you to know that recession is also a time of great opportunity. Time and time again success has its roots in failure, because failure knocks you down from the top of the hill so you can then climb a mountain. Yes it's unsettling, yes it's scary. But this can be your greatest opportunity in life - if you choose it. The recession has cleared the space of clutter - think what have you always wanted to do but brushed aside from the top of your hill? NOW is the time. Picture taken while out on my walk one day...there's beauty in my neighbourhood So I say to you live your life, darling, truly, matching it to all things deep in your heart, because anything other than feeling alive does not belong with you at all. ~~S.C. Lourie~~ Picture taken in Collingwood, ON Well this is it...the last official weekend of the summer. We knew it was coming and sadly it's time to pack away the summer fun and bring out the sweaters and comforters once again. (Mine have been out for over a week now...it's cold here!) Did you do it? You know? That thing you've been wanting to do all summer? Did you? I hope so! and I hope it showed you too that you can live beyond your pain when you prepare for it. Pain may be a part of who we are but it's not all that we are. We may live a pained life but we still have a life to live. I hope this summer you lived for you and not your pain. What have you learned this summer about your pain? How do you prepare for it so that you can do the things you need and want to do for you? Pain is manageable and we can learn to cope. Find what soothes your pain...emotionally, mentally and physically and take good care of you. I hope you had a summer filled with memories and things that make you feel good about being you. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. ~~Mohandas Gandhi~~ Picture taken at Dorchester Mill Pond, Dorchester, ON
