I call it circle work because everything around the circle reflects back to the center...
YOU.
You are the center of the circle and what goes around it depends on you, your needs, and your life.
What makes you smile?
What are you grateful for in life?
Who do you have in your life to support and encourage your dreams and goals?
What goes around your circle should inspire and encourage you. It can also be the things you turn to like activities and hobbies that help you live beyond your pain.
Sometimes when we're surrounded by the circle of our pain...it can be hard to see all the other aspects of our lives that are beyond our illness and pain. Have you lost sight of what makes you smile? Do you still have goals and dreams that you're working towards? Well...remind yourself again of all that you are and all that you have in your life.
We often say we've "lost everything because of my pain" and in some ways yes we did lose things....BUT....
our pain is only one part of who we are and I hope this exercise reminds you that you are so much more than your diagnosis and you still have a lot in your life to enjoy and moments to live.
Live for you and not your pain.
