There is a saying that when times are tough and you're feeling down and out, keep in mind it won't last forever. The other part of the saying is that when times are good, enjoy them! because they too won't last forever.
If you're going through hell now, keep going...it won't last forever... but you must keep going. This too shall pass in time but you must face it and you must endure it to learn from it and move on. Once you've moved on...leave it behind you. It's where you've been, not where you're going.
There are life lessons in even the ugly parts of our lives, but we must be open to learning from them. We can grow and learn from our hurt and pain, and we can become a stronger version of our yesterdays, but we must keep going.
