If I can identify the trigger and acknowledge my feelings...I can help myself...I can gain control.
NO...you can't always control what triggers you... BUT...you can control how you respond to your triggers...and you can control how you care for yourself during and afterwards.
Take a look at the meme and give thought to when you've been triggered...what does it feel like? what do you do to help yourself through it? or are your actions keeping you heightened? What words do you use with yourself when you're feeling triggered by life? Are there things you can do differently for you moving forward? Give it some thought okay?
What you do in the early stages can either empower and support you...or it can drag you down further.
