Be grateful each and every day for the things you have and the things you're able to do because there is always someone in the world living with less. I met a woman once in a wheelchair who had no use of or feeling in her legs. One day during a conversation she looked at me, punched her “useless” legs and told me how she wished she could feel for one day what I felt in my legs, pain and all, instead of having the “nothing” that were her legs. Just once, she wanted to know what it felt like to be able to “feel” her legs. I was truly humbled by that conversation. I felt guilty actually. Here I am complaining about the pain I go through every day, how much it hurts to walk, to someone who couldn't walk at all. I began to be very grateful for the fact that although my body was in constant pain, I could still walk. So always be grateful for what you have. Someone else in the world is living with less.
