I'm not sure what to call it...either a birthday or an anniversary...but one year ago today this website was started.

The website has come a long way and I can't say thank you enough for being here.

Thank you for being a part of my journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours.

It hasn't been an easy road here but one thing I can say for sure is that this website has become more than I ever thought possible and more than what I had originally planned for it.

I started this website as a way to promote a program that I wrote for people like us. I had planned on putting pieces of the book here to allow people to see what it was all about but I never planned to be here daily writing and sharing with you. The website grew beyond my intentions...but I'm glad it did.

We've covered some serious topics here over the last year and I know I've shed a few tears writing, but we've shared a laugh too, and that makes it all worth the effort. This website is my thoughts in purest form and from the heart of someone who knows what it's like to live a pained life.

I'm not here to tell you how to live your life, but to encourage you to live it for you the best way you can and to support your journey with information that may help you along. My goal was to hopefully help someone avoid going through what I went through. I almost lost my life to my pain and I thought if I could help even one person in their journey I might make some sense out of my own.

We may live with pain now but we still have a life to live and it can still be a beautiful life...even when it's a hurting one. I hope by sharing this site you're making the changes you need for you moving forward. We have choices and it's up to us to make the best ones we can for our lives with a chronic illness.

Thank you for sharing in my journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours. Writing this website has helped me to heal in so many ways. I still struggle but I'm not where I was three years ago, or even a year ago when I started this. I've grown and healed over the last year and I will continue to heal as I move forward too.

Thank you for being here and sharing this with me.
I wish you nothing but the best for your health and life.
Please...as always...take good care of you
