Now some may think that comment is filled with attitude...but really? I don't have to and nor do you. We do not have to validate the existence of our pain.
Simply put...just because something can't be seen, does not mean its existence isn't possible. And just because you may not or cannot see it...does not mean its existence needs to be validated. It does not make it any less real for those who are living with it.
The thing is? not everyone we meet will understand, will see, or will respond in a positive way towards us...not everyone will. But does that mean we need to validate our pain or its existence? NO! we don't. Just because someone may not see or may not understand, does not change what we live with on a daily basis. Just because someone may not see or may not understand, does not make our pain any less real for us. It just doesn't.
Not everyone will see, not everyone will understand...and that's okay! It's not their life to understand...it's mine, it's yours, but it's not theirs. Our hurting lives are ours to live to the best of our abilities...whether someone else sees our pain or not. Live your life for you and not your pain.
Take good care of you please
