Regarding the news article "Fibromyalgia and Diet" written by Jen Uscher, have you noticed that certain foods impact the pain you feel? If so, what changes have you made within your diet to aid your pain?

For myself, I also experience bouts of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), a common issue many of us face. In an attempt to decrease the episodes I experience with IBS, I have eliminated greasy foods from my diet. When cooking chicken, I now choose boneless skinless chicken instead. For someone who loves the skin on my chicken this was hard!! But I have noticed I don't have as many episodes with my IBS. I have also made changes in the way I prepare a lot of my foods. My little George Foreman Grill is now the most used appliance in my kitchen. When removing the drip tray, I'm rewarded by the sight of all the fatty grease that my food is no longer cooking in and I'm no longer eating.

Little changes in our lives can make living with pain easier.
Making the needed changes.... is within our abilities.
What will you do to make the change?

Please use the comment box to share how you are making changes within your diet to better manage your pain. By sharing our ideas and strategies, it improves our chances of living our life the way we want, instead of the way pain wants. I look forward to hearing from you.
