I would also like to point out that what I shared with you as an explanation for the therapy is not everything that can be found regarding aversion therapy. I would encourage you to read further about this therapy and conditioning, to learn more about how you can make the changes you want for you.
Aversion therapy takes time and it takes practice. Learning how to use your own negative feelings to correct and re-condition your own behaviour takes time and it takes practice. But let me ask you...Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Do you like the negative feelings you are experiencing? Use those negative feelings to motivate the changes in your own behaviour.
As with any behaviour modifications you may undertake...replace a negative behaviour with a positive behaviour...don't forget to reward your efforts and please...be gentle and patient with yourself!
