Do you have a place that does that for you? Where is it? How do you feel when you're there?
Truth is...it doesn't have to be a "place"...you don't have to go anywhere...you can stay right where you are...just allow your thoughts to rest. Quiet your mind and allow your thoughts to go to that place that calms you.
For me it's the water...I can be in a loud place...but once I start thinking of the beach and hearing the water...my body responds. The more I remember the sounds, the smells and the sights too...my body calms further. The troubles seem less when I'm near water and my thoughts become clearer.
When we seek the quiet moments between our thoughts I think we can better understand them. Rest your mind and calm your thoughts. What is in your control to change? Hint...you...you can change how you respond to what's going on around you. What can you do moving forward and how will you do it?
