Have you ever done something that caused you to feel more pain? What did you do for you afterwards? How did you soothe yourself or did you? How did you talk to yourself? Did you beat yourself up for causing more pain or did you thank yourself for a new memory made? What did you do?
For me it usually includes a warm bath with bubbles, my comfy clothes and some gentle words too. Music is a big part of my healing and gently moving my body to the music helps me work through the pain. Gentle massage is an option and ice packs too...and then there's the best of all...a nap.
There are things we can do for us when we've lived beyond our pain...find what works for you and live your life. How we care for ourselves through our activities is a healthy healing goal...give thought to what you need from you the next time you get active within your life and...
